In addition, we believe it is important that you have and maintain control over your personal data. Therefore, we would like to explain how you can delete your account and associated data or submit a request to delete specific data.

Account Deletion

  • If you want to delete your account and all associated data, follow these steps:
    1. Log in to your account in the app.
    2. Go to ‘My Profile’.
    3. Select the ‘Delete Account’ option.
    4. Follow the instructions to confirm the deletion.

Deletion or Modification of Specific Data

  • If you want to change or delete specific data without deleting your account, you can do so by:
    1. Logging in to your account in the app.
    2. Going to the ‘My Profile’ section.
    3. Selecting the specific data you want to delete. (Please note that certain data such as name/email cannot be deleted without fully deleting your account.)
    4. Following the instructions to confirm the changes.

Online Deletion Request

  • You can also submit an online request to delete your account or specific data:
    1. Visit our website at https://thehealthchallenge.nl
    2. Fill out the contact form.
    3. Clearly state whether you want to delete your account or specific data.
    4. Submit the request, and we will process it as soon as possible.

What Happens After submitting a Deletion request?

  • After submitting a deletion request, we will:
    • Confirm and process your request.
    • Permanently delete all your personal data such as name, email address, phone number, health data, and location data from our systems.
    • Certain data, such as webshop transaction history, may be retained for tax purposes for up to 7 years after your last purchase.
    • Inform you once the deletion is completed.
